Autumn Gala 2026
Join us for our Autumn Gala on Sunday 27th September.
Trains will be running every 30 minutes, featuring the home fleet. The first train will be 10.00am, with the last departure at 3.30pm. Trains will include the Class 107 DMU, Queen Mary Brake Van rides hauled by the 08 shunter D08769, and our Wickham Trolley. In addition, there will be a miniature railway in operation by the museum.
Tickets will be All Day Rovers allowing travel on as many trains as you like subject to space.
Explore the museum telling the story of the Somerset & Dorsey railway, not just in Midsomer Norton, but also along the line. Don't forget the WW2 Pillbox and Anderson Shelter. Visit the signal box and see the signaller in action.
The station shop will be open selling gifts, toys and railway merchandise. The Emporium will be open in its new larger premises (still on the patio) with its wide selection of railway books and model railway items.
Refreshmnets will be available from the RMB Buffet, and if the weather is nice, why not enjoy them on the patio.
