In its heyday the Somerset & Dorset Railway ran summer excursions to the seaside, such as Bournemouth. Relive the experience with our Midsomer Summer day when you can take a train ride to our re-created seaside.
Enjoy a train ride on your way to our re-imagined "Bournemouth West" for a day of family fun. We will have a childrens entertainer, the Ukelele band and plenty of attractions to keep the children busy. Fairground side shows such as hook-a-duck, or hoopla to test your skills. There will be a sandpit to provide the beach atmosphere, and a paddling pool to help create the beach feel.
Refreshmenst will be available from the buffet, including pre-booked cream teas. Ice creams will also be availble to complete the seaside atmosphere.
