This DVD has been totally re-masterd from the original. The first part of the film covers the final years of steam over Shap before the line was electrified. The second part covers a visit to Scotland where all four of the preserved Scottish pre-grouping engines are seen: the Caledonian Single, Glen Douglas, the Jones Goods and Gordon Highlander.
